Short verdict

Good fit for

SMEs that keep their books in one package with their accountant and run several administrations.

Less suited to

Freelancers who want to cancel monthly; you are tied in for at least 12 months.

Key facts

  • Entry plan €58/month excl. VAT, without invoicing
  • VAT and ICP returns in all plans
  • Contract of at least 12 months

What is Twinfield Boekhouden?

Twinfield Boekhouden is from Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting Nederland in Hoevelaken. You keep your books, connect ABN AMRO, Rabobank, ING or Knab automatically and file the VAT and ICP return from the package; your accountant can look along for free. The data processing agreement is part of the terms and Microsoft Azure is on the list of sub-processors, but we did not find in which country the data is stored. Whether Twinfield Boekhouden itself sends e-invoices via Peppol is not on the public pages.

Good: VAT and ICP returns and five administrations are already in the cheapest plan, and support is also available by phone.

Less good: invoicing only comes with MKB Boekhouden (€78.50) and you sign up for at least 12 months. We only found an iDEAL payment link through the integration with Payt.
