What is Durable?
Durable is an AI website builder from Durable Technologies Inc., with a home base in Vancouver, Canada. You describe your business and Durable turns it into a site, which you then adjust with AI or in the editor. It comes with a simple CRM, online booking with calendar sync and AI help for blogs, reviews and search engines. With Grow, Durable translates your site into up to five extra languages.
The sites run on Cloudflare. According to the privacy policy, your data goes to Canada and to the countries where Durable’s service providers are; Durable names no fixed EU storage and no data processing agreement. You can only switch on payments through Durable Payments (Stripe) if your business is registered in the US, Canada, Australia or the United Kingdom, and then only with cards and wallets.
Good: according to Durable your site is up in 30 seconds, there is a free plan to try it, and you can cancel monthly.
Less good: prices are in dollars, there are no payments or iDEAL for Dutch businesses, and fees paid are not refunded. You can export your customer list as CSV, though.
