What is Shoptrader?
Shoptrader is webshop software from Shoptrader B.V. in Amsterdam, active since 2009. You get the software, hosting and automatic updates in one package, with templates, stock management and integrations with marketplaces such as bol, Amazon and Marktplaats. There is also a point of sale for a physical shop. The site does not say where the shops are hosted, and the terms and privacy statement do not mention a data processing agreement.
Good: many sales channels and marketing integrations are included as standard, and from Business a Dutch support team also helps you by phone. You can turn a demo straight into a live shop.
Less good: the contract runs for 12 months and renews automatically; according to the terms you have to cancel by post or fax. Startup only has email support. For a small web shop, €59 per month after the first three months is on the high side.
