What is Xendy?
Xendy is email marketing software from Nextmessage B.V. in Bemmel, which until recently traded as Nextmessage. You build newsletters in a drag-and-drop editor, set up automations such as a series after sign-up or an abandoned cart, and segment by behaviour and purchases. You pay only by the number of contacts; every tier has all features. According to Xendy, its servers are in the Netherlands and Germany, and the data processing agreement is included. In its privacy policy Xendy does keep the option to transfer data outside the EEA, using standard contractual clauses.
Good: one price per tier with no separate plans, unlimited users and cancellable monthly. Onboarding and moving over from your old package are free, and support is in Dutch.
Less good: there is no free plan, only a 30-day trial. Xendy deliberately has no SMS, landing pages or CRM, and apart from four online shop integrations everything else goes through Zapier, webhooks or the API.
