Google Voice is Google’s business phone service, which you buy as a separate add-on to Google Workspace. According to Google, the Netherlands is a supported country: you can take a Google calling plan with your own numbers, or connect your existing provider. Google LLC is based in Mountain View in the US and is owned by the listed company Alphabet. Google Voice is a Workspace core service, covered by Google’s data processing agreement (Cloud Data Processing Addendum). Voice is not on the list of services for which you can choose storage in Europe with Data Regions; Google does not say there where call data is then stored.

Of the alternatives to Google Voice we checked, KPN EEN MKB Connext Voice has the lowest starting price, at €9.50 per month. From-price per month for Connext Voice; KPN does not say on the page whether that is per user or excl. VAT. Included: call groups, menu, queue, voicemail, landline on mobile and a Webex softphone. Unlimited calling, call recording and Desktop Integration (CRM) are extra options with no price on the page. Also check what the cheapest plan includes.
