Riverside is a browser-based recording studio for podcasts, interviews and video, which also has a free screen recorder. According to its privacy policy, RiversideFM, Inc. in Morgan Hill, California is the controller, together with the companies in its group; there is also an Israeli company. Prices are in US dollars only. According to that policy, Riverside keeps data in places including the US, Canada and the EU, but it does not say where your recordings are stored. It does offer a data processing agreement (Data Processing Addendum). We could not establish whether the app is available in Dutch, or who owns the company.

Monthly billing is also available; the help centre lists $15 per month when paid annually and $18 when paid monthly, and the price follows your country and currency. Enterprise on request. No free plan: the 14-day trial starts with your first video. Also check what the cheapest plan includes.
