Vonage is an American communications company with business telephony and communications APIs. According to Ericsson, Vonage Holdings Corp. is headquartered in New Jersey and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Ericsson (Sweden) since 21 July 2022. Vonage’s website could not be opened for us, so we could not check prices, language or a data processing agreement for the business phone service. On its GDPR page for the communications APIs, Vonage lists sub-processors in the EU and the US, among other places.

Of the alternatives to Vonage we checked, KPN EEN MKB Connext Voice has the lowest starting price, at €9.50 per month. From-price per month for Connext Voice; KPN does not say on the page whether that is per user or excl. VAT. Included: call groups, menu, queue, voicemail, landline on mobile and a Webex softphone. Unlimited calling, call recording and Desktop Integration (CRM) are extra options with no price on the page. Also check what the cheapest plan includes.
