What is Avana?
Avana is a service of Sweeber Technologies in Bussum. You get your own booking page with a QR code and a widget for your website; customers book themselves, get a reminder by email and text message, and pay in advance or pay a deposit with iDEAL. Since October 2026 it also handles class timetables, class passes and memberships for Pilates, yoga and dance studios. According to the privacy statement, Avana acts as processor and the arrangements can be set down in a data processing agreement. Avana does not say where the data is stored; for transfers outside the EEA it promises appropriate safeguards.
Good: the starter plan is cheap, you pay no commission per booking and you can cancel every month. Support is available in Dutch, by email and WhatsApp.
Less good: the team works remotely and, according to the contact page, is usually not at the Bussum address. Waiting list, cash book and integrations are only in Business Plus, and the site does not say where your data is stored.
