What is Planobook?
Planobook is salon software from Rotterdam, built by a small team: in development since 2024 and available to Dutch salons since 2026. One web app holds a calendar with a column per staff member, online booking through your own page, a till with end-of-day closing and VAT overview, a salon website, a webshop, gift cards, class passes and loyalty points. Online payments and deposits against no-shows run through your own Mollie or Stripe account. According to the privacy statement, the application, database, files and backups are within the EU; suppliers for email and other services may process data outside the EEA. There is a data processing agreement.
Good: one price with everything included, no setup costs, no commission and cancellable monthly. The admin environment is in Dutch, and support is by email, WhatsApp and phone.
Less good: reminders go by email only; text and WhatsApp messages from Planobook are not available. The product is new and the team is small.
