What is Formdesk?
Formdesk is a product of Innovero Software Solutions B.V. in Amsterdam and has been around since 2000. You use it to build online forms for registrations, orders, surveys and requests, with calculations, file uploads, email confirmations and a payment step with iDEAL, PayPal or credit card among others. Formdesk says it guarantees that none of the collected data leaves the EU, and it is certified for ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 (information security in healthcare). You draw up a data processing agreement online and receive it by email for signing.
Good: the entry plan is cheap, annual and does not renew automatically: it ends after a year and you renew it yourself. You can try it free for 3 months.
Less good: on Standard many features are separate modules at €110 per year, such as conditional questions, the PDF generator and workflow. If you reach a limit, your forms on Standard are temporarily unavailable until you upgrade. Integrations go through the API and webhooks, not through ready-made plug-ins.
