What is Project Hours?
Project Hours is time tracking software from Project Hours in Leersum, started in 2016 by founder Bert-Jan Lappenschaar. You log hours per project and activity, with a timer or in a calendar, and record materials, mileage and expenses. There is an hours budget, hours planning, approval of hours and leave, and hourly rates per user or activity. The data is stored in the Microsoft Azure cloud and, according to the privacy policy, processed only within the EU. The software is available in Dutch and English.
Good: the price is low and simple: €3 per active user per month, and you do not pay for users you set to inactive. You can try it free for 2 months, the apps are included and you pay in arrears.
Less good: there are no integrations with accounting or payroll packages; hours go further through Excel reports. You get one annual invoice, not a monthly one. We did not find a data processing agreement on the site.
