What is TalkMark?

TalkMark is a product of Securyflex B.V. in Woerdense Verlaat. You record a conversation in the iOS or Android app or upload a file in the browser; TalkMark transcribes it with speaker recognition and creates a summary with action points. Besides Dutch it handles English, German and French. According to the data processing agreement, recordings and transcripts are stored with Supabase in the AWS Stockholm region. Transcription itself mostly runs through AssemblyAI’s EU region, and summaries through OpenAI Ireland; these are American companies, with standard contractual clauses.

Good: the app and site are entirely in Dutch, you pay per month by iDEAL and cancel whenever you like. The data processing agreement and the list of sub-processors are public on the site.

Less good: API, integrations and AI search only come with Pro. TalkMark uses models from American providers, even though processing takes place in the EU.
