What is vragen.ai?
vragen.ai is a product of SWIS B.V., a web agency in Leiden. It reads in the pages and PDFs of your site and answers visitor questions in a chat widget or as a search function, always showing the source. A dashboard and inbox show which questions are asked. There is a WordPress plug-in, a Drupal module and an API.
According to the security page, the data is stored at TrueFullstaq in Almere and the open language models run at Nebul in Dutch data centres. If you choose an external language model, that provider is added as a sub-processor: Microsoft Azure, OpenAI, Anthropic or Mistral. Conversations are not used to train models. SWIS is ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 certified, and a template data processing agreement is available to download on the site.
Good: your data stays in the Netherlands, you can cancel monthly and the documentation on privacy and security is public. Answers come only from your own content, with sources shown.
Less good: Starter has a fixed language model and support is charged by the hour. It is an AI assistant for your site, not an inbox for WhatsApp, email or human chat.
