Developers and small software companies with a Ruby, Elixir, Node.js, Python or PHP app who want monitoring in one European package.
Less suited to
Anyone who only needs a simple uptime check; a separate uptime tool is cheaper for that.

- Hosting with Worldstream, US hosting only as an option
- Data processing agreement signed digitally in your account
What is AppSignal?
AppSignal is a monitoring service from AppSignal B.V., with its registered office in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and a postal address in Amsterdam. You see errors, slow requests, logs, uptime and server metrics in one place. There are integrations for Ruby on Rails, Elixir, Node.js, Python, Go, Java, PHP and Rust, among others, plus OpenTelemetry. According to its security page AppSignal is ISO 27001 certified; hosting runs through Worldstream B.V., backups through Amazon Web Services EMEA. If you want, you can choose hosting in the United States.
Good: there is a permanent free plan, and you do not automatically pay more if you go over your limit once. You sign the data processing agreement yourself, digitally, in your account.
Less good: the site and product are in English. The team works spread around the world, so support in Dutch is not promised anywhere.
