Form builders with data in the EU

7 of the 11 form builders in our guide store your data in the EU and offer a data processing agreement, according to the facts we checked with the vendor. They are listed in order of our overall score.

Why it matters

The vendor stores the answers of your customers and respondents on your behalf. That makes them a processor, and the GDPR requires a data processing agreement, also with a free account.

Ask the vendor: Does your data processing agreement also apply to the free plan, and which sub-processors get to see my respondents' answers?

Jotform, MoreApp, Enquete.com, Tally, Microsoft Forms, Formdesk and Crowdtech store your data in the EU and offer a data processing agreement. For the other 4 form builders in our guide we did not find this, or could not check it.

Which one comes top?

Jotform comes top in our overall score. What a tool pays does not count towards it. Still check whether the plan suits you: price, limits and features are on the tool page.
