    What is BetterPic?

    BetterPic uses AI to make professional headshots from a few selfies you upload. Behind BetterPic is BetterGroup Holding Inc., with a registered address in Dover, Delaware (US). You pay once per plan; for businesses there are per-person plans and an API.

    According to the privacy policy, most customer data is in the EU (Frankfurt) and part in the US; the computing can happen in the EU or the US. Your uploads are kept for up to 1 year and the generated photos for up to 3 years, unless you delete them earlier yourself. BetterPic does not mention a data processing agreement for business customers on the site.

    Good: no subscription, and with 10 free photos you see the result first. You can have your photos deleted yourself straight away.

    Less good: prices are in dollars and the site is not in Dutch. Part of the data is in the US.
