Awards

Every quarter we list, per category, the tools with the highest total score, the best Netherlands check and the lowest starting price. International tools take part as well. Everything follows from the facts in the guide.

During the quarter we recalculate with every update of the guide. At the end of the quarter the list is fixed.

The rules

  • Highest total score

    The 3 tools with the highest total score in their category, the same score our lists are sorted by: verdict, Netherlands check, integrations, trying it out and a public price. International tools can win it too. In a tie, every tool with the same score gets it.

  • Top Netherlands check

    The 3 tools with the most points on the Netherlands check of their category. In a tie, every tool with the same score gets it. You need more than half of the points; "unknown" does not count as a point.

  • Lowest starting price

    The lowest paid starting price per month in the category, as stated by the vendor. Only tools with a known price and more than half of the points on the Netherlands check. In a tie, they all get it.

A category takes part from 5 tools. Which points of the Netherlands check count differs per category: Peppol belongs with invoices, iDEAL with online payments. The explanation per point is in How we assess. The quarter follows from the date on which we update the guide.

Awards are free and not for sale. You cannot ask for one either: a tool only gets it when the facts say so. If a fact is wrong, let us know; with a source we will correct it.

For makers

Does your tool have an award? On the badge page you copy the embed code for your own website. The badge names the quarter and stays available afterwards. The badge itself is in Dutch.
