What is Aimy?
Aimy is salon software from Aimy B.V. in The Hague. You manage the calendar and client records, clients book online through a widget and you take payment with the digital till. For online bookings you can ask for a fixed or percentage deposit, or the full amount upfront; if the payment fails, the appointment disappears from the calendar. Payment requests go via iDEAL, with a QR code in the salon or via WhatsApp. According to the terms, the software runs on Microsoft Azure and according to Aimy the servers are in the Netherlands. We did not find a data processing agreement on the site.
Good: deposits for online booking and iDEAL payment requests are included, with no fixed monthly cost for payments. Support by WhatsApp, email and phone on working days.
Less good: WhatsApp and SMS messages cost per message. The Exact integration is listed as coming soon.
