What is Cal.com?
Cal.com is an open-source scheduling tool from Cal.com, Inc. in San Francisco (US). You connect your calendar, share a link and clients pick a moment themselves. Reminders by email and SMS go out automatically. When booking, you can charge via Stripe or PayPal, also in the free plan.
Cal.com processes data in the US. An EU version, Cal.eu, stores everything within the EU, but since 1 November it is only for paying customers from the Organizations plan. The data processing agreement (cal.com/dpa) is part of the terms and applies to every account, with standard contractual clauses for transfers from the EU.
Good: the free plan is generous for one person, with payments and CRM integrations. You can import Calendly appointments.
Less good: prices are in dollars, and Cal.com does not name iDEAL among its payment options. Anyone who wants data in the EU pays for Organizations.
