What is ABN AMRO Zakelijk?
ABN AMRO Zakelijk is the business banking offer of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in Amsterdam. You choose a Volop Ondernemen package (Slim, Ambitieus or Grenzeloos) with a current account with a Dutch IBAN (NL), a debit card and Internet Banking for Business, and you can add Tikkie for business to send payment requests. On the pages we reviewed, ABN AMRO does not say where customer data is stored. We did not find a data processing agreement (DPA); for a bank account it usually does not apply. The packages are meant for companies with a turnover under €25 million.
Good: starters (registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) for less than 1 year) pay no package fee for 12 months, and two business savings accounts are included at no extra cost.
Less good: Slim has no phone support and no accounting integration; for those you need Ambitieus. Transactions and (after 1 year) customer due diligence cost extra.
