What is Timewax?
Timewax is resource planning software from Timewax in Amsterdam. You schedule employees on projects by dragging and dropping, see who is available and what skills someone has, and compare planned with worked hours and expected margins. The planning syncs both ways with Outlook. According to the data processing agreement, which is part of the contract, Timewax processes customers’ personal data exclusively within the EEA.
Good: you pay per planned FTE and not per user, so planners, employees and externals can view without an extra licence. There are integrations with AFAS, Exact Online and Simplicate.
Less good: the prices are not on the site, and you buy an annual bundle in advance plus a setup fee. Timewax is a planning tool, not a task management or invoicing program.
