What is Employes?
Employes is online payroll software from Shine Employes B.V. in Amsterdam, part of the European Ageras since 2025. You use it to create payslips, after which the payroll tax return goes automatically to the Belastingdienst and the pension return to the pension fund, in all plans. You send the payroll journal entry to your accounting through an integration, including with Moneybird, Exact Online, SnelStart and e-Boekhouden. The data is at AWS in data centres in Frankfurt and Ireland, and Employes publishes a data processing agreement on the site.
Good: payroll tax and pension returns are in every plan, and support is available by email, chat and phone.
Less good: on top of the fixed monthly price you pay per payslip. Leave, absence and expense claims are not in the entry plan.
