What is Ahrefs?
Ahrefs is an SEO tool from Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. You see which sites link to you and your competitors, which keywords you are found on and which technical errors your site has. Keywords Explorer has a separate setting for the Netherlands in Dutch (nl-NL), and the app itself can be used in 15 languages, including Dutch.
According to the privacy policy, data is stored in the US. Ahrefs has a data processing agreement (Data Processing Addendum) with standard contractual clauses already signed; you fill in the annex yourself and send it back.
Good: Ahrefs Free is a usable free plan for your own site, and at €27 per month Starter is a cheap way into keyword research.

The Netherlands check
Useful if you run a business in the Netherlands. "Unknown" means we could not verify it.
Support in Dutch: Unknown
You would rather ask a question in Dutch, to someone who knows how things work in the Netherlands.
App in Dutch: Yes
SEO terms are hard enough as it is. A Dutch app helps, but apart from that you want keyword data for the Netherlands, because Dutch people search differently from English speakers.
Data in the EU: No
An SEO tool gets access to your Search Console and Analytics, and sometimes to customer data in reports. If that is in the EU, you have less to arrange for transfers.
More about data in the EU →Data processing agreement: Yes
If you connect Analytics or put client names in reports, the tool processes personal data for you and you need a data processing agreement.
More about the data processing agreement →Company in the Netherlands: No
A Dutch company falls under Dutch law. For some businesses that matters, for example in a dispute.
