SE Ranking is an SEO platform from SER Acquisition Inc. (US), with a UK branch, Seranking Ltd in London. You track your Google rankings, also by city or postcode, do keyword and competitor research and have your site audited. The website is also available in Dutch.
SE Ranking says it works in a GDPR-compliant way, falls under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and signs a data processing agreement (DPA) with customers. For hosting it mentions Hetzner (Germany) and AWS (Luxembourg), but also Google in the US; it does not say exactly where your data is stored.
Good: cheaper than Semrush and Ahrefs for comparable basic features, with a 20% annual discount and a free trial without a credit card.
Less good: there is no permanent free plan, and the site does not clearly say whether your data stays in the EU.
