What is TimeWriter?
TimeWriter is time tracking software from Xbase Software Ontwikkeling B.V. (XSO) in Menaldum in Friesland. You log hours, leave and workplaces, monitor project budgets and send invoices by email or via Peppol. You work in the web app or in a desktop app with a database on your own server or in TimeWriter’s cloud. Where that cloud data is stored is not on the site; the delivery terms name XSO as processor and say that additional agreements on personal data will follow if the law requires.
Good: integrations with Dutch accounting packages such as Exact, SnelStart, Moneybird and e-Boekhouden, and a free Freeware version for one person.
Less good: you pay per year, not per month. The site does not say in which data centre the cloud data is stored or whether iDEAL payment links are possible.
