What is Fillout?
Fillout is a form builder from Restly, Inc. (trading as Zite), an American company from Delaware. You make forms, surveys and quizzes with conditional logic, calculations and PDFs, and you let respondents pay through Stripe. You can set the form itself in dozens of languages, including Dutch. Responses go to Airtable, Google Sheets, Notion or HubSpot.
Fillout runs on Amazon Web Services. Fillout only uses EU servers if you ask for them: storage of form responses in the EU is available from the Team plan, through support. The standard data processing agreement (DPA) is available for every plan and contains the EU model contractual clauses for transfers outside the EU.
Good: the free version is generous, with unlimited forms and users, 1,000 responses per month and payments. You pay a fixed amount, not per user.
Less good: prices are in dollars, and data in the EU costs at least $300 per month. Fillout does not mention iDEAL among the payment options.
