What is ASN Bank Zakelijk?
ASN Bank Zakelijk is the business offer of ASN Bank N.V. in Utrecht; new business accounts from SNS now go through ASN Bank. You choose ASN Betalen Zelfstandigen for freelancers (zzp) or the ASN Zakenrekening for sole proprietorships, bvs, vofs and partnerships, both with a Dutch IBAN (NL). With a business payment request you send an iDEAL payment link via WhatsApp, SMS, email or QR code. On the pages we reviewed, ASN Bank does not say where customer data is stored; we did not find a data processing agreement, and for a bank account it usually does not apply.
Good: 1,000 transactions per year are included in the price, and a paid payment request costs €0.15.
Less good: direct debit and batch payments are not part of the freelancer account. On top of the monthly price you pay customer due diligence fees.
