What is PayPal Point of Sale (Zettle)?
PayPal Point of Sale, until recently Zettle by PayPal, is the point-of-sale app and card reader from PayPal. You download the app on your phone or tablet, connect a PayPal Reader or use the PayPal Terminal, and manage products, stock and staff from the same app. There are no monthly costs; you pay a fixed percentage per card payment. We could not find on the Dutch site where the data is stored or whether PayPal offers a data processing agreement for this product.
Good: no monthly costs and a Dutch phone number for support on working days.
Less good: the Dutch site does not mention iDEAL. The 1.95% rate also applies to regular Dutch debit cards.
