What is Superlist?
Superlist is a task list and notes app from Superlist Software GmbH in Berlin (Germany), made by the makers of Wunderlist. You put tasks and notes in lists, share them with your team or guests, and turn emails from Gmail or messages from Slack into tasks. The app works on macOS, Windows, iOS, Android and in the browser.
The privacy policy names Hetzner in Germany for infrastructure and storage, but also Google Cloud Storage without a region and a number of American services, such as Cloudflare, with standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. So Superlist does not say where your data is stored. You request a data processing agreement (DPA) via privacy-inquiries@superlist.com; the terms fall under German law.
Good: the free plan is permanent and enough to share lists with a few people. Integrations with Gmail, Google Calendar and Slack are included from Basic.
Less good: prices are only in dollars, and Superlist mentions no Dutch version or support in Dutch. Typing dates in plain language only works in English.
