    CRM > Contacts, Companies or Deals > Export, as CSV, XLS or XLSX. Choose all properties through Customize. The download link arrives by email and works for 30 days. You need export permissions.

Importing into Teamleader Focus

Not found on Teamleader Focus's website: what you can import and how. We could not open and check the import pages in the Teamleader Focus help centre ourselves. Ask them.

Step-by-step plan

  1. Export your companies, contacts and deals from HubSpot, with all fields.

  2. Export notes, activities and files separately if you want to keep them.

  3. First create the custom fields you use in Teamleader Focus, so the import can fill them.

  4. Import companies first, then contacts and then deals, so they stay linked to each other.

  5. Set up the integrations again, such as your email, calendar and accounting.

  6. Only cancel HubSpot once your team works in Teamleader Focus and the export is saved.

Pitfalls

  • Links between records

    A contact belongs to a company, a deal to both. If you import in the wrong order, those links are lost.

  • Notes and activities

    These are often not in the standard export. Export them separately, or decide deliberately not to bring them along.

  • Custom fields

    Fields you added yourself must already exist in the new CRM before you import.

  • Data processing agreement

    Your CRM contains personal data of customers. Sign a data processing agreement with the new vendor. More about the data processing agreement →
