What is Nitro Sign?
Nitro Sign is the e-signing service from Nitro Software, which acquired the European Connective and has an office in Antwerp. You send documents for signing through a portal or API, and signers can sign with iDIN (advanced level in the Netherlands), itsme or the Belgian eID (qualified in Belgium), among others. According to Nitro, Nitro Sign runs on Microsoft Azure and AWS in European data centres, including Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Dublin and Zürich, and there is a data processing agreement (DPA) for the EU.
Good: many European identification methods, including iDIN and itsme, with data in Europe.
Less good: Sign Standard only includes the basic features, and for advanced and qualified signing you need Sign Enterprise, with a price on request.
