What is Planday?
Planday is staff scheduling software from Planday A/S in Copenhagen (Denmark). You make rosters with it, let employees swap shifts, record hours worked and create a time report for payroll. According to the privacy statement, the data of European customers is in the EEA; the data processing agreement (DPA) names Microsoft Azure in Ireland as hosting, with processing in the EU, and allows transfers to the United Kingdom. The app is available in Dutch, the website and help centre are not.
Good: you can try it free for 30 days without a credit card, and the help centre lists integrations for the Netherlands with Lightspeed, Zettle and Clover, among others.
Less good: the site names no price in euros for the Netherlands and no integration with a Dutch payroll package. Besides the price per user, Plus also has a fixed monthly amount, and text messages and help with set-up cost extra.
