What is SumUp Kassa?
SumUp Kassa is the point-of-sale system from SumUp, a payment company with its registered office in London; for Europe it operates through SumUp Limited in Dublin, among others. You buy a till with a screen for yourself and a customer screen, and the till software is free; for multiple ordering devices and a table plan you take POS Plus. Card payments run via SumUp at a percentage per payment. SumUp says it stores personal data for its European activities in the EEA and offers a data processing agreement.
Good: no fixed monthly costs for the basic software and no contract; you pay per card payment.
Less good: the site does not mention iDEAL for the till. According to SumUp, whether you can phone SumUp depends on the subject; chat is the standard channel.
