What is SumUp Facturen?

SumUp Facturen is the invoicing tool from SumUp, a payment company with its registered office in London that operates in Europe through SumUp Limited in Dublin, among others. You make quotes and invoices with it, send recurring invoices and automatic payment reminders, and customers pay online with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer. SumUp says it stores personal data for its European activities in the EEA and offers a data processing agreement.

Good: a free plan without a subscription, and paying in cash or by bank transfer has no transaction fees.

Less good: iDEAL and Peppol are not mentioned on the invoicing pages. On the free plan the customer can only transfer to a SumUp Business account.
