What is N26 Business?
N26 Business is the business account from N26 Bank SE in Berlin, a bank supervised by the German BaFin. The account is meant for self-employed people and freelancers who work under their own name: a company name on the account or card is not possible, and you cannot have a personal and a business account at N26 at the same time. The Netherlands is on the list of countries where you can open N26 Business. All N26 IBANs start with DE, FR, IT or ES, so you do not get a Dutch IBAN. N26 does not say on the pages reviewed where customer data is stored or whether support and the app are in Dutch.
Good: Business Standard is free, and the paid plans start at €4.90 per month.
Less good: no Dutch IBAN and no account for a limited company (bv) or in a company name. According to the help centre, N26 Business does not support payments between businesses (B2B), and N26 does not mention integrations with accounting software.
