What is Revolut Business?
Revolut Business is the business account from Revolut Bank UAB in Vilnius (Lithuania), a bank supervised by the Bank of Lithuania and the European Central Bank. Dutch customers contract with the Dutch branch in Amsterdam; companies and sole proprietorships with a Chamber of Commerce (KvK) registration can open an account. According to the terms, your money is covered by a deposit guarantee scheme. Which country your IBAN comes from is not stated in the terms and fee schedules. The terms contain a data processing agreement (Data Processing Addendum) and say that Revolut may transfer personal data outside the EU, with appropriate safeguards.
Good: a full bank account at a bank with a European licence, with a Dutch branch. Revolut-to-Revolut transfers are unlimited and free.
Less good: we did not find a free plan in the fee schedules, and Basic has only 10 local transfers per month. The terms apply in English and legal communication, including complaints, is in English.
