What is Close?
Close is a sales CRM from the American Elastic Inc., which trades as Close. You follow up leads with built-in calling, SMS and email sequences, and in the more expensive plans with automated workflows and a power dialer. The application runs at Amazon Web Services in the US, and most other sub-processors are there too. Close offers a data processing agreement with standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the EEA.
Good: you try it for 14 days without a credit card, followed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Calling and SMS are in every plan, at usage-based cost.
Less good: the data is in the US and prices are in dollars only. Close says nothing about a Dutch-language app or support.
