    What is Weav?

    Weav is AI customer service software from Weav.com, LLC in Salt Lake City (US). You get an AI chatbot and AI agents that answer questions, plus a shared inbox where your team takes over. Weav itself only names website chat and email as channels; everything you do in the dashboard can also be done via the REST API.

    According to the privacy statement, Weav and its sub-processors store and process data in the US, in AWS data centres in us-east-1 and us-east-2. Answers are generated with OpenAI. Weav writes that your conversations are not used to train third-party models. Neither the privacy statement nor the terms mention a data processing agreement, and the terms are governed by Utah law.

    Good: you can start for free and the first paid plan costs $29 per month, with no long contract.

    Less good: prices in dollars, data in the US and no data processing agreement on the site. The free plan has only 20 AI messages per month, and Weav does not mention WhatsApp or social media.
